This plate belongs to the series and design issued from 1958 to 1991. During this period several variations of manufacturing and designs were used. The initial series used four digits serials, but this was increased to five digits ca. 1984. This plate is issued in district Mirditė (Rrėshen).

This plate belongs to the series introduced in 1993 and design issued from 1995, when the crest was added, and still current. This plate is issued in county Durrės (Durrės).
